By Lexi on April 6, I bought this for my golden retriever, it is the perfect height for him to eat and drink from. One complaint that I have is the rubber around the lip of the bowl, this is intended to make the bowls quiet in the metal stand which is does a great job at.

However, water gets under the rubber ring when you wash it or when the dog drinks out of it and it gets slimy and nasty. It is also very hard to put back on the bowl by yourself, if you take it off to clean it. I would suggest to put rubber circles on the stand it self so the bowls touch that instead of the metal and it will be quieter that way.

Other than that, this is a great product that I would recommend and buy again. When the box arrived, one of the wire stands that supports the two plastic bowls had a bent leg, but it was easily bent back into place. The white plastic bowls do not absorb heat from sitting outside in sunlight and they are easy to clean.

A rubber ring, that wraps around the top lip of the bowl slips off easily for cleaning. When you are a 17 year old dog, you need all the help you can get, and these bowls are good for senior doggies.

Our Goldendoodle went right over and seems to really appreciate not having to eat or drink from a bowl on the floor. She is pretty leggy so I think this is much more comfortable. My cats are outdoor cats. They always have dry cat food at all times and in the evening I feed them quality wet canned food.
